In July 2012 we went to the Dog Shelter in Guernsey County, OH to rescue Panda, whom we had seen on Petfinder.com. On the way into the office to complete the paperwork, Nicola met Molly lying in her own filth and yelping in pain from flea bites, but immediately rolling on her back to look cute and attract attention. We had no choice but take both of them home with us, and they have been best friends ever since. Molly is on the best way of recovering from mange, but Panda is heartworm positive, and will require extensive treatment.
