Like her 7th birthday, Mariah insisted that we celebrate her 8th again at a local McDonald's, which has a play area that she and all her friends love. Apparently the new McDonald's policy is to allow no photography - even of your own kids at a birthday party. The local management had the good sense to simply inform me of that policy, which prompted me to stow away my 420ex Speedlight, and switch the Rebel XT to ISO1600. This in turn allowed them to not notice me taking pictures. Thank you, guys! You managed to keep a loyal customer. Needless to say, the kids had an absolute blast!
